For all you vintage lovers out there in Leuven we have some wonderful news! Second-hand store SPIT opened a Pop-Up Store in the Dietsestraat in Leuven. In this store you can buy items like: textile, (small) furniture and books. Since it is a pop-up store it will only be there for three months. So do not wait another minute and take this chance!
Of course buying second-hand items is, as we all know by now, very sustainable. On top of that SPIT is doing business in a social responsible way and they provide sustainable goods and services. When the store opened at the first of December we had the chance to have a little chat with one of the people working there. She told us that of course the buying of second-hand products itself is very sustainable, but also she wanted to emphasize that SPIT is providing a way to let people participate fully in society by offering them sustainable employment.
So when you buy something at this store, you will not only help the environment, but you will also help people participate in society! If you want to stop by before it is too late, the opening hours are: Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00 (Dietsestraat 253).
