As we all know, students need healthy lunches during the day to keep their hardworking brains alive for studying. Because students tend to be very busy, they often run to the shop to buy themselves some food for the road. This usually involves packaging, which isn’t too good for the environment. Taking your lunch with you is a good habit, not only for the environment, but also to save yourself some money! So, here are some convenient tips for sustainable packaging.

Of course not all students always buy their food on the road. Some students take their lunch with them, which is great! A lot of students use for sandwiches a plastic bag for transport. There’s a more sustainable and cheaper option: use a bread bin! Not only will it save you money (because you won’t have to buy the plastic bags anymore), you can also look very cool with it! There are some sites who offer nice-looking sustainable bread bins, like greenjump. The main mission of Green Jump is to raise children in a healthy sustainable environment.

There’s also a more sustainable way to transport your drinks. You can have a beautiful designed bottle to put your water in. Dopper is a sustainable company which wants to make people more aware of the environment. Their main goal is reducing plastic waste, but they want more than that. They want to create awareness about the environment and the plastic waste and inspire people to make a change. Moreover they want to improve the access to safe drinking water.

So if you buy a bottle from this magnificent brand, you will have a beautiful designed sustainable bottle. For all the creative people out there, you can even customize these bottles. It can't get better than that! Are you low on money? No worries, you don’t even have to spend money to buy a new bread bin. There’s actually a trend to re-use glass jars for putting your food in as in this picture.
